In March this year, Aerospacelab, a Belgian space company, selected the single-deployable 1070x570mm wing configuration from the Sparkwing catalogue.

In October this year, we sent over a structural model for early system level testing. This is a first for us! The structural model with laser-cut dummy cells will enable spacecraft testing without impacting flight hardware. Further, it allows for integration and handling practise at our customer’s side.

Next, a set of two wings for the first flight model that include the substrates with photovoltaic assemblies (PVA), hold-down and release systems and deployment mechanisms will be delivered.
